I have always felt incredibly blessed to have such great couples. Everyday, I feel like I really do have the best job in the world. The fact that my couples allow insight into their personal lives, and trust me to capture and deliver their vision for the day, just inspires me to no end.

Jessica and Kevin are one of those couples. Sweet and loving {with two incredibly adorable daughters!}, I just adored working with them. Jessica and Kevin also gave me something that I have not done in sometime- inspiration from a movie. Black, silver, and just a touch of red was everything 'Twilight' that Jessica wanted. Jessica and Kevin were very involved in the design process and wanted modern, dramatic, and unexpected. It's safe to say that Southwest Minnesota got a wedding that was just that! Congrats Jess and Kevin~ your day was simply...fabulous!

Fabulous Friday

This week has certainly made us excited for fall- extra layers of fleece on the bed, drinking hot cocoa, and throwing on some new scarves. While we head out of the city to begin preparation for a HUGE event we will announce next week, we thought we would leave you with another little slice of bridal heaven from her majesty, Vera Wang. The Winter Collection is definitely keeping us warm.

Wednesdays 11:00-3:00

Thursdays 11:00-7:00

Fridays 11:00-3:00

Saturdays 9:00-3:00

Fabulous Friday

This Fabulous Friday is taking a bit of a different approach as we are going to share a little bit of our personal lives that have greatly inspired us these past few months.



As many people know, Bekkem Lee was born on June 9, 2010 and has since fully completed our circle within our family. He has grown tremendously since this day and every day is so exciting to see a new adventure for him. Although it has been a few years since we have heard those baby cries around our house, we are quickly getting used to it and loving every minute of it.


The photos within this Fabulous Friday were taken by my amazingly talented and beautiful friend Tasha Herrgott of Red Bird Hills. For those people that say they could never have someone at the hospital for such a personal event, I really wish I would have done this for our other children. Having her capturing his first few hours of life is something we are forever grateful for. {And for you brides out there- her wedding photography is a-maz-ing!!}

We thank everyone for all of their support these past few months and look forward to creating event more amazing events. Stop into the shop as Bekkem will now greet you with a smile...and quite possibly some spit up too:).

Simply Fabulous + SMSU Gala = One Amazing Experience!

We are excited to announce Simply Fabulous is lending it's design expertise to the 2010 Southwest Minnesota State University Gala!

In it's annual event, the Gala raises money for scholarships for students at the University by ticket sales, live and silent auctions, and donations throughout the evening.

In meeting with Stacy Frost, Director of the Annual Giving Programs, this past spring to discuss the Gala, it was clear that Simply Fabulous needed to be a part of this fantastic event. As we are always looking for ways to contribute to the community, we knew that donating our skills to this event was a no-brainer. What better way to add our decorative fabulousness than an event that gives back to the education community?!

If you would like to attend this event, tickets are still available to the public by clicking on the logo above. As a girl who always loves a reason to get a party dress on, we can't think of a better way to spend an evening and make a student's dream that much closer to reality.

Fabulous Friday

As we are approaching the end of summer, we at Simply Fabulous are trying to indulge in every possible moment left of sun kissed picnics, endless bicycle rides down country roads, and gorgeous blooms of the season.

We look forward to what we consider the best season of the year, though short as it may seem, we are excited to adjust our wardrobe to allow layers to flow and bundle ourselves in scarves and riding boots. In the meantime, we thought we would show one way to embrace the ending of one season, and the start of another.
