A Whole Lotta Inspiration Going On

A HUGE 'thank you' to all of you who have emailed me your well wishes for our new boutique opening soon in Marshall, Minnesota! With each step of this process, I am becoming even more excited to open our doors! I wanted to show one of the pictures {courtesy of blog Head Over Heels} that we have been using for an inspiration board for the shop. The colors and texture within the photo just make me want to scream 'FABULOUS!!!!'

I have had a few questions sent my way and thought the best way to address these is by posting them via blog.

What will your new 'store' actually be?

Simply Fabulous Events and Design will be Southwest Minnesota's premier eclectic boutique. Our emphasis has and will continue to focus on all things fab and beautiful within our couple's wedding day. For those that know us, know that we love LOVE and all things weddings. We will continue to offer our detailed planning services, and have now added linens, lovely centerpieces, and other rental elements to add to the beauty of the day.

We are also pleased to announce that we will be carrying a stunning bridal line, as well as bridesmaid dresses! These dresses are constructed of the most lush fabrics, rich colors, and amazing silhouettes. We cannot wait to show these little gems off!

I have already booked a wedding with Simply Fabulous in Minneapolis this fall. Does this move change that?
No. Simply Fabulous will continue to offer its array of services to the Twin Cities area, southwest Minnesota, and South Dakota. Remember we also love coordinating out of state and destination weddings as well!

Why a boutique in Marshall, Minnesota?

The better question is: Why not? We recognized a need for a one-of-a-kind bridal boutique in Southwest Minnesota that only Simply Fabulous could offer. Our ultimate goal is to not only create beautiful events, but to keep business within our community by offering our couples the best vendor recommendations by word of mouth referrals. When those referrals are kept within the community, we help the community to grow and that, to us, is success.

P.S.- I received an email from one of my best girlfriends letting me know she heard on the local radio station about our participation at the Bridal Extravaganza at The Centers in Marshall on Sunday, February 21st. We will be there!! Will you?

A Little Eye Candy

I just had a few minutes before starting on yet another project in the works and wanted to share a picture with you of what we can put together when the pressure is on. I will be posting photos of this wedding in the next few days, but wanted to show you reason #852 of what Simply Fabulous is just so good at and loves to do.

In a nutshell, envision two buckets of hydrangeas non-prepped, six cakes that need to be layered and ribboned, and five layers of full bloom stuffing. What you see is a picture of a cake and what we see is THE cake that makes people gasp when they walk into the room. It happens every time we touch an event.

The best part? Give Lisa a cutter, some ribbon, pearl pushpins, and some tunes and she rocks this out in about 30 minutes. Pure loveliness.

Can't wait to show off this event that was a year in the making...stay tuned.
